Federal Tax Rates

"Federal Tax Rates" permits entry of the federal tax rate table information for a tax year and tax rate table combination. These entries will be used for calculating federal tax withholding for an employee during payroll processing.

Type Tax year to be maintained. Select the relevant rate table and enter the related "Over amount" and "But not over amount" as well as the "Withhold amount" and tax "Percent" from the Federal (Circular E), Employer's Tax Guide. Click Save to save the line item for the tax year and rate table. The saved details will display in the tax rate list below. Enter all lines related to the rate table. Click an item from the list, select "Delete" to delete the related rate table line item. Select "Change" to retrieve the rate table line item record; change values, click Save to save the modification.
