Entry tips

A Trend graph can display up to six series of data and is suited for displaying comparative trends between accounting periods or years, budget versus actual, rolling accounting periods, etc. coming soon -> Graphs defined as "aging" style are used to show Accounts Receivable aged customer balance data and is presented as a pie chart (the "aging" graph style is not yet available and thus does not yet appear in the combobox for selection).

Type "?" in "Graph name" to select an existing graph or type a new graph name to begin a new graph definition. Enter a "Ledger" value, graph "Title" and optionally, a graph "Sub title". Select the type of graph to be defined via the "Style" combo box. The status of the graph will be displayed and the detail tab for the graph style will be enabled. Click Delete to permanently delete an existing graph definition.

Expand the "Graph details" panel to specify details for the style of graph selected. Click Save to save the graph definition.

Type or prompt via "?" a Category code for the accounts to be included within a series. Enter series text to be shown on the graph for its related category. (Categories are defined in "Configure->Chart of Accounts".) Enter a valid "Budget" code if the related series category should display budget amounts. Check "Reverse" to reverse sign of series amounts (e.g this is useful to display normal credit balance accounts as positive values on the graph).
